Responsibilities- Support the Office of Management and Enterprise Service, Finance Center of Excellence (FCoE) by providing IT augmentation services for the State of Oklahoma People Soft Financials system.
- Participate in project management, support implementations, financial upgrades, and fixes, as well as production support for Phase II state agencies.
- Act as a FCOE CORE Team member, taking both support and lead roles in various projects.
- Translate functional requirements into technical specifications and collaborate with People Soft Business Analysts, System Analysts, System Integrators, and Oracle for functional and technical support.
- Prepare test scenarios, test scripts, training materials, and configuration documents.
- Provide functional production support for all People Soft Modules and identify risks and obstacles, providing assessments to FCoE, IS, CAR, and OMES leadership.
- Deliver production support in a timely manner, produce weekly status reports, develop project plans, and document fit/gap analysis, test scripts, test results, and training documentation.
- 5+ years of experience in IT, specifically supporting People Soft Financials 9.2, PUM 53.
- Proficiency with Modules:
Grants, Projects Costing, Contracts, Accounts Receivable, Billing, Accounts Payable, Travel & Expense, Treasury, General Ledger, Commitment Control, and Asset Management. - Knowledge of State of Oklahoma accounting procedures, policies, and standards.
- Experience with component interfaces, SQR, App Engine, People Code, People Tools, SQL Developer, and Bl Publisher.
- Ability to work independently or with System Integrator to identify and document workflow requirements and design processes within Accounts Payable and Travel & Expense modules.
- Experience with government or State of Oklahoma projects preferred.
- Strong communication skills with agency, technical, and functional users.
- Production support completed in a timely manner.
- Weekly status report outlining work accomplished.
- Project plan as needed.
- Development requests produced state guidelines.
- Fit/gap documentation as needed.
- Test scripts and results documented.
- Training documentation completed.
- Tech configuration/setup steps as needed.
- Projects completed and tested, signed off by state resources and stakeholders.
