We are currently seeking a Master Scheduler to join our team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma (US-OK), United States (US).
Overview of jobThe Master Scheduler will serve as the expert on project scheduling and will develop and maintain a multi-sourced integrated project schedule for a large, complex, health and human services project implementation.
Responsibilities- Establish procedures and time frames for input into the master schedule
- Develop and maintain the integrated project/master schedule
- Create a combined Master Schedule from different sources and update it daily/weekly.
- Develop work breakdown structures (WBS) and decompose work into manageable tasks.
- Identify task and resource dependencies.
- Communicate and report schedule issues, risks, or slippage.
- Assign, allocate, and level resources at the task level.
- Provide schedule metrics for input into overall project progress reporting
- Understand and utilize NTT DATA scheduling assets (e.g. schedule standards, templates, policies, schedule management plan templates, procedures, checklists)
- Provide consultative support to project team members, including schedule and integrated master schedule development support/facilitation, training, and one‑on‑one support
- Forecast “what if” scenarios or modeling of the schedule.
- Create schedule communications –informative and visually appealing schedule communications and graphics for use with internal and external customers
- Configure and manage NTT DATA’s Microsoft Project Online (Project Web App) environment to support specific project requirements
- Conduct schedule health reviews and develop portfolio-level reporting and analysis methods and tools
- Minimum of 6 years total work experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience developing and maintaining project/program schedules with Microsoft Project, including significant experience managing complex schedules with Microsoft Project and Microsoft Project Online
- Minimum 2 years of experience with developing and maintaining an integrated master schedule (IMS) from multiple sources
- Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP) certification
- Agile training and/or certification
- Microsoft Project Online (Project Web App)
- Experience creating custom fields, views, tables, and reports
- Experience creating project schedule templates and related resources (e.g. schedule management plan template, checklists, quick reference guides, or training materials)
- Hands‑on experience working with project managers to facilitate schedule development
- Experience creating schedule related communications and presentations for sponsor or client presentations
- Experience using Macros, VBA, Excel, and/or out‑of‑the‑box functionality to extend Microsoft Project to create custom tools and reports (e.g. schedule health checks, progress reports)
- Experience using Microsoft Visio/Excel in coordination with Microsoft Project to create custom schedule reports
