Salary:
Competitive pay based on education and/or experience and $500 bonus after 6 months and $1,000 bonus after 1 year!

Position:

The IT Field Services Technician position will provide on-site and remote technical support for all remote OBI donor centers, mobile kits, and coaches. This position will be instrumental in ensuring successful blood drives via continued IT hardware and software support, field deployments and the design, construction and deployment of new generational mobile requirements and equipment.

The IT Field Services Technician position will provide local and remote technical support for Windows based platforms, personal computers, and all peripheral devices. Responsible for operating systems and software that reside on Windows and various database platforms. The successful candidate will understand communication of hardware and software for VPN, LAN/WAN networking, TCP/IP. Responsibility also includes setup and ongoing support for existing center hardware and annual asset refresh.

This position will require occasional tasks that are assigned directly from IT Strategy & Logistics Leadership to include IT Procurement, IT vehicle maintenance, OBI cell phone distribution and other duties as assigned

This position will assist with IT Strategy & Logistics and IT Field Service activities consisting of receiving assignment of help tickets, conversing with ticket requestor, issue determination / resolution, satisfaction follow up, and ticket closure.

This self-starter will possess the ability to communicate effectively at all levels in a professional, fast-paced environment, demonstrating technical knowledge, problem-resolution skills, and a responsive, service-oriented work ethic.

Qualifications:

* Requires High school degree, GED or equivalent

* Must be 21 years of age or older

* Must have a valid drivers license

* Must be ablet to provide MVR with zero points and no moving/traffic violations in the past 3 years

* Three year's experience with IT frontline support including experience and/or training

* Requires an understanding of operating systems, software and hardware

* Ability to provide local and remote technical support to both a LAN/WAN environment for computer hardware and software, to include security, configuration, installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of computer hardware and software components

* Ability to assist and train others

* Technical knowledge and problem resolution skills

* Strong analytical skills

* Ability to develop and implement written documentation and procedures

* Service oriented; self-starter; takes ownership; willing to take on additional responsibility

* Responsive; strives for excellence; ability to interact and communicate effectively

* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Primary Responsibilities:

The IT Field Services Technician performs a variety of responsibilities, including:

IT Field Services Functions

* IT support for all OBI remote sites

* On-site IT support for large blood drives

* Mobile kit and coach maintenance

* IT Field Services projects and implementations

* Repairing hardware and completing RMAs

* OBI construction and remodeling projects to include design, preparation, staging and implementation of all IT infrastructure

* Coordinate with vendors and internal departments to deliver projects

* Provide feedback on systems operations and the successful builds for all new endpoint images

* The successful candidate in this position will require a passion for OBI's overall mission, ability to quickly change direction, be highly flexible, self-motivated and willing to provide clear feedback to management

Secondary Responsibilities

* As required, perform other departmental functions during an employee's absence and/or to support departmental requirements

* Perform additional responsibilities as requested
