PositionSummary
The Practice Models and Training Specialist is a member of the Practice Models and Training Solutions department within the Knowledge and Practice Division and reports to the Manager of Practice Models.
The Practice Models and Client Training Solutions Department designs evidence‑informed training frameworks, learning solutions, and tools to improve performance within human services systems. The department partners with clients and subject matter experts to translate research, policy, and practice models into practical, learner‑centered solutions that strengthen workforce capacity, improve service delivery, and drive measurable outcomes.
Essential Job Functions- Support the development, organization, and maintenance of training materials, participant resources, toolkits, and learning products across multiple contracts and projects.
- Assist with content creation, updates, formatting, proofreading, and quality assurance to ensure materials align with organizational standards, branding requirements, and contract expectations.
- Coordinate administrative activities related to virtual and in‑person training events, meetings, and stakeholder engagement activities.
- Conduct research and gather information related to evidence‑based practices, emerging trends, federal and state policies, and client requirements to support project objectives.
- Assist with the development and maintenance of resource libraries, knowledge management systems, and content repositories.
- Support project teams by tracking deliverables, maintaining project documentation, monitoring timelines, and coordinating follow‑up activities.
- Participate in meetings with internal staff, subject matter experts, clients, and community partners and document key decisions, action items, and project updates.
- Collect, organize, and summarize participant feedback, evaluation results, and performance data to support continuous quality improvement efforts.
- Assist with the development of presentations, reports, training materials, communication products, and technical assistance resources.
- Maintain a working knowledge of organizational practice models, contract requirements, and applicable federal and state policies to support project implementation.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support the successful implementation of training initiatives.
- Contribute to process improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to increase efficiency, consistency, and quality across projects and workflows.
- Demonstrate professionalism, adaptability, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail while managing multiple assignments and competing priorities.
