IT Project Manager, IT Consultant, Systems Analyst
We are seeking a Director of IT Project Management to lead and mature a centralized Project Management Office (PMO) within a complex healthcare environment. This individual will oversee the full IT project portfolio, drive governance and prioritization, and partner closely with executive leadership to ensure successful delivery of strategic initiatives.
This role is highly visible and requires strong leadership, executive communication, and the ability to translate complex technical initiatives into clear business value. The Director will also be responsible for refining PMO processes, optimizing resource utilization, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Must‑Haves:- Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s preferred)
- 8+ years of IT project/program management experience
- 5+ years of leadership experience managing teams and project portfolios
- Experience leading or working within a PMO in a complex, matrixed environment
- Strong background in portfolio management, governance, and prioritization processes
- Experience presenting to executive leadership and driving strategic initiatives
- Proficiency with project management tools, including Service Now SPM
- Strong understanding of IT project life cycles, infrastructure, and system integrations
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts for business stakeholders
- Healthcare industry experience
- PMP certification
- Scrum Master or Agile certification
- Experience with large‑scale system implementations or healthcare applications
- Familiarity with security, privacy, and compliance frameworks in healthcare
$165,000-$185,000 per year annual salary.
