Manager, Scrum Master

Caremark LLC, a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Hartford, CT:
Manager, Scrum Master to plan, initiate, and manage information technology projects for CVS digital projects and products.

• Develop software solutions to meet business requirements and manage project execution to ensure adherence to schedule and scope.
• Determine feasibility of solutions design and prepare technical design documentation.
• Plan stages of application development to improve functionality and features with a focus on performance, reliability, and maintainability.
• Provide program and project oversight, direction, and administration across full project life cycles, including team formation, planning, requirements, design, build, test, deployment, and warranty support, on medium to large projects.
• Write and review high quality code and perform unit and/or automation testing.
• Confer with project personnel to identify and resolve problems.
• Monitor progress milestones and deliverables.
• Support applications, systems, and databases used for healthcare activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on application development, technical requirements, code review, project deliverables, quality assurance, and software development best practices.
• Mentor junior team members.

• Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Business Analytics, Engineering or a related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
• Completion of a university-level course, research project, internship or 3 months of experience in each of the following:
  • Software testing, quality assurance, and troubleshooting.
  • Agile methodologies or SAFe Software Development Principles.
  • Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Java, Python, or Node.js.
  • R or SQL.
  • CI/CD, Jenkins, GIT, or Dev Ops.
  • Domain support for healthcare or retail organization.
  • Web and mobile applications development.
  • Writing application code and deploying to production.
  • Relational database concepts.
  • Software development best practices.
  • Visualization tools, including PowerBI or Tableau.

Pay range: $/year to $/year. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full‑time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short‑term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.

This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
