The Product Security Anti‑Tamper Team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma is growing and currently seeking a Software Security Engineer, in the field of Anti‑Tamper. This position will support the Mobility, Surveillance & Bombers (MS &

B) division business organization.

Our team is developing industry‑leading software, hardware, and systems solutions. This position includes the opportunity to integrate new architectures and key security and control features using Boeing‑designed hardware and other COTS hardware/software.

This position is expected to 100% onsite.

Position Overview

The Boeing Company is seeking innovative engineers to lead the software architecture and development efforts for key computing assets embedded in the most advanced Boeing defense platforms.

Successful candidates for this role will lead the development and maintenance of hardware and software based product security solutions for the protection of critical military information and technology.

Position Responsibilities
  • Develops, documents and maintains architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for software systems
  • Lead the development of secure software methodologies to generate detailed, repeatable, automated test points, plans and procedures
  • Support and be accountable to program engineering leads and management in day‑to‑day task activities, accomplishments, issues, and concerns
  • Highly motivated and exhibit strong written and verbal communication, inter‑personal, and problem solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and effectively with external customers and subcontractors in a multi‑site and multi‑discipline program and environment
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
  • 9+ years of experience of software development in avionics or real‑time embedded systems / firmware design using C/C++, Ada, and/or Java
  • 1+ years of experience of technical leadership
  • 1+ years of experience utilizing Agile tools (Git Lab, Jira)
  • Ability to develop code for usability, readability, and maintainability
Preferred Qualifications
  • 14+ years of experience of software development in avionics or real‑time embedded systems / firmware design using C/C++, Ada, and/or Java
  • 5+ years of experience of technical leadership including collaboration across multiple teams in a fast‑paced environment
  • 1+ years of experience with lifecycle Configuration management (CM) tools experience (Git Lab, Jira or similar)
  • Experience working in a Dev Sec Ops  environment
  • Experience with cryptography and other security protocols
  • Working knowledge in the field of cyber security, secure computing and/or anti‑tamper
