Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Software Architect to support the E-7A mission team in Oklahoma City, OK Our teams is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Associate and Experienced Software Architects.

Position Responsibilities:

* Supports the design, development, analyses, and maintenance of software systems that meet industry, customer and internal quality, safety, security and certification standards

* Partners with appropriate stakeholders to inform system definition and support translation of system-level requirements into software requirements and models that meet customer, operational and performance requirements and have clear traceability to design, code and test artifacts

* Contributes to completion of software system-level analyses to identify risk, issues and opportunities; supports integration and deployment of mitigation actions throughout the software lifecycle. Supports code reviews to ensure alignment to requirements and standards

* Supports monitoring and reviewing test completion, verification processes and issue resolution for software systems

* Supports development of user documentation and training to educate end users about usage of software products

* Supports reviewing product and process for alignment with project plans and industry standards by contributing to tracking and evaluation of internal team and supplier performance

* Supports implementation of current and emerging technologies, tools, frameworks and changes in regulations relevant to software development

* Supports performing software project management and software supplier management activities. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work on-site at one of the listed location options. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
* Bachelor's Degree

* Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. Ability to obtain Secret U.S. Security clearance Post-Start is required

* 2+ years' experience creating and documenting systems or software architecture and designs

* 2+ years' experience supporting cross-functional or cross-organizational teams within engineering and/or test

* Experience designing and developing software using Python, C/C++, C# and/or Java

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
* Level 3: 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

* Experience with Government Reference Architectures

* Experience with model-based engineering

* Experience with Requirement Tracing

* Experience with defense systems and platforms

* Familiarity with software Dev Sec Ops  practices

* Experience producing technology roadmaps and capability roadmaps Conflict of Interest:
