Linux Systems Administrator

We are seeking an experienced Linux Systems Administrator to support mission-critical infrastructure and enterprise services for Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Linux administration, systems maintenance, troubleshooting, automation, security compliance, and enterprise operations within a DoD environment. This position requires an active Secret clearance and Security+ certification.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 4 years of hands-on Linux Systems Administration experience
• Active DoD Secret Security Clearance
• Current CompTIA Security+ certification (IAT Level II compliant)
• Experience administering enterprise Linux environments such as:
  Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) Rocky Linux CentOS Oracle Linux
• Strong understanding of:
  Linux operating systems and kernel fundamentals User, group, and permission management File systems, storage, and volume management Networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, firewalls) System monitoring and performance tuning
• Experience with scripting and automation using:
  Bash Python Ansible
• Familiarity with STIG implementation and compliance requirements
• Experience with patch management, vulnerability remediation, and system hardening
• Ability to troubleshoot complex system and application issues
