IAM Business Analyst
We are seeking a highly skilled IAM Business Analyst with expertise in SailPoint Identity IQ (IIQ) to support a federal civilian client based in Oklahoma City, OK. This role focuses on Identity Governance & Administration (IGA), with a strong emphasis on compliance, access reviews, and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) design. The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience with SailPoint IIQ's Compliance Manager module, along with the ability to analyze complex access data, partner with stakeholders, and drive secure, audit-ready identity governance processes within a federal environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Leading stakeholder interviews with application owners to document access models (groups, roles, permissions)
- Defining how identity and access data should be aggregated into Sail Point
- Analyzing current access patterns to design and implement least-privileged RBAC models
- Designing improved access structures that reduce organizational risk
- Designing, launching, and managing Access Certification campaigns including quarterly and annual access reviews
- Training federal managers on SailPoint functionality for access approvals and revocations
- Developing and maintaining audit-ready reporting including automated reports demonstrating Segregation of Duties (SoD) enforcement
- Validating timely deprovisioning for offboarded users
- Creating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for business users
- Creating Technical Design Documents (TDDs) for development teams
- Analyzing large datasets of user entitlements using Advanced Excel or SQL-based analysis
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, IT Management or Finance and 3+ years of experience in Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) with hands-on experience in SailPoint IIQ (Compliance Manager module) and strong understanding of RBAC and Segregation of Duties (SoD) OR 7+ years of IGA experience
- Demonstrated ability to analyze access data and entitlement structures
- Ability to translate business requirements into governance solutions
- Strong technical and analytical skills including Advanced Excel or SQL
- Experience developing documentation such as SOPs and TDDs
- Familiarity with NIST Cybersecurity Framework
- Familiarity with FISMA reporting requirements
- Ability to obtain or currently hold a Public Trust security clearance (or higher)
- Experience supporting federal or highly regulated environments, is a plus
- Prior involvement in audit, compliance, or risk management initiatives, is a plus
- Experience driving access certification campaigns at scale, is a plus
