Position Overview
Pharma Force is seeking a strategic and technically adept 340B Data Analyst to lead the design and development of our analytics platforms and reporting infrastructure. This role is central to bridge the gap between business needs and technical execution. The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in gathering and interpreting business requirements from clients and internal stakeholders and translating those into scalable technical specifications for development teams.
A key focus will be on designing analytics platforms from the ground up, including defining and building data warehouse architecture, data pipelines, and reporting structures. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in translating business objectives into actionable data solutions, with a deep understanding of analytics tools and healthcare data environments.
Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Requirements & Solution Design
- Collaborate directly with clients and internal stakeholders to gather, clarify, and document detailed business and reporting requirements.
- Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications for development and data teams.
- Serve as a liaison between business users and technical teams to ensure alignment, feasibility, and successful delivery of data products.
Analytics Platform & Data Warehouse Architecture
- Lead the design and development of new analytics platforms and reporting solutions from concept to implementation.
- Contribute to the architecture of scalable data warehousing solutions that support operational and strategic analytics.
- Design ETL processes, data models, and visualization strategies to support complex healthcare data sets.
- Build and manage Power BI dashboards and reporting tools that support both internal operations and customer needs.
- Use Salesforce and other tools to develop insightful reports and dashboards that support data-driven decision-making.
- Ensure reports are aligned with business KPIs and regulatory standards.
- Facilitate ongoing communication across business units, project managers, and technical developers to ensure successful project execution.
- Present data findings and system designs clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including offshore partners, to ensure timely and high-quality deliverables.
Documentation & Compliance
- Document requirements, data dictionaries, and reporting standards to support transparency, reproducibility, and ongoing improvements.
- Maintain clear SOPs and process documentation related to data management and analytics workflows.
Required
- 3+ years of experience in data analytics, business analysis, or data platform development—preferably within healthcare, 340B, or pharmaceuticals.
- Proven experience gathering business requirements and translating them into technical deliverables.
- Strong knowledge of Power BI, including DAX, data modeling, and dashboard creation.
- Experience with Salesforce reporting and data structures.
- Strong understanding of SQL and data transformation processes.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and macros.
Preferred
- Hands-on experience designing or contributing to the development of data warehouse architecture and data pipelines.
- Familiarity with 340B program operations and healthcare claims data.
- Experience with ETL tools and cloud-based data platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to distill complex concepts for diverse audiences.
- Self-motivated and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strategic thinker with attention to both detail and big-picture impact.
