Position: Network Administrator


Compensation: $ 112,000 - $ 140,000 annually, depending on experience


Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Network Administrator to join their team!

This is an exciting direct hire opportunity for an experienced network professional to support enterprise application delivery, security, and load balancing across on-premises and cloud environments. You will play a key role in optimizing F5 platforms, improving reliability, and supporting critical infrastructure initiatives within a collaborative technical team.


Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Own the day-to-day administration and reliability of the F5 BIG-IP environment
• Build and maintain application traffic configurations, including VIPs, server pools, health checks, and routing rules
• Create and enhance iRules while introducing automation to streamline repeatable tasks
• Oversee certificates, encryption settings, and SSL/TLS standards across the platform
• Strengthen application security by reviewing and refining WAF, bot mitigation, and traffic protection policies
• Help manage F5 Distributed Cloud services, including new configurations and environment expansion
• Diagnose complex connectivity and performance issues and assist with platform upgrades
• Work closely with network, infrastructure, application, and security teams to deliver practical solutions
• Keep technical documentation, configuration standards, and support procedures current

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a comparable field, or equivalent hands-on experience
• At least five years of experience supporting and administering F5 BIG-IP in an enterprise environment
• Strong working knowledge of LTM, APM, ASM/Advanced WAF, and BIG-IP DNS/GTM
• Exposure to F5 Distributed Cloud or another modern cloud-based application delivery platform
• Solid understanding of TCP/IP, HTTP/S, DNS, and Layer 4 through Layer 7 networking
• Experience automating infrastructure or network configurations using Ansible, Terraform, REST APIs, or similar tools
• Knowledge of SSL/TLS, certificate management, PKI, and secure network design practices

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• F5 certifications such as F5-CA or F5-CTS
• Experience with BIG-IQ administration
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
• Familiarity with Kubernetes integrations
• Knowledge of CI/CD, Git Ops, and observability tools
• Experience with multi-cloud networking
• Familiarity with Zero Trust security architectures
• Exposure to VXLAN EVPN and spine-leaf networking
