Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Epic Lumens Analyst to support ongoing application maintenance, optimization initiatives, upgrade activities, and break/fix support within a healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will serve as a key resource for incident resolution, system enhancements, workflow improvements, and application performance optimization. The analyst must have strong Epic Lumens expertise and a proven track record supporting production environments.
This role requires a hands-on analyst who can effectively manage support tickets, troubleshoot complex issues, collaborate with operational stakeholders, and ensure the stability and continuous improvement of the Epic Lumens application.
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day support for Epic Lumens including ticket management, issue resolution, and break/fix activities.
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve application, workflow, and integration issues.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring issues.
- Support Epic upgrades, new releases, system testing, and validation activities.
- Identify opportunities for workflow optimization and application enhancements.
- Gather business requirements and translate them into system solutions and configuration changes.
- Configure, maintain, and support Epic Lumens functionality in accordance with organizational standards.
- Collaborate with clinical, operational, and technical teams to support business objectives.
- Participate in system design sessions, change management activities, and production support processes.
- Develop and maintain application documentation, testing scripts, and support procedures.
- Provide end-user support and guidance regarding Epic Lumens functionality and best practices.
- Work closely with cross-functional Epic teams to ensure seamless application performance and integration.
- Current Epic Lumens Certification (required).
- 3+ years of Epic Lumens analyst experience in a healthcare environment.
- Experience supporting production systems through incident management, break/fix, and enhancement requests.
- Hands-on experience with Epic upgrades, testing, and implementation activities.
- Strong understanding of healthcare workflows and operational processes.
- Experience managing support tickets in a structured support environment.
- Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Additional Epic certifications are a plus.
- Experience with integrated Epic applications and workflows.
- Knowledge of change management and release management processes.
- Experience supporting large healthcare systems or multi-site organizations.

This is a Contract position based out of Oklahoma City, OK.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $85.00 - $95.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
