Lead Network Engineer

Compensation: $135,000 - $145,000 annually, depending on experience

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Lead Network Engineer to join their team!

This is a great opportunity to join a team-focused environment supporting and modernizing an enterprise network. You'll play a key role in network design, operations, and strategic initiatives across security, cloud networking, and next-gen data center technologies.

• Design, implement, and support enterprise network systems across multiple platforms
• Work hands-on with Cisco routing, switching, and data center technologies
• Configure and manage Fortinet security solutions (firewalls/switching/management/analytics)
• Troubleshoot complex network issues across layered environments
• Support and drive initiatives related to SD-WAN and SASE
• Create clear network documentation, standards, and troubleshooting notes
• Partner cross-functionally to improve infrastructure reliability and security

• 7+ years of enterprise network engineering / infrastructure experience
• CCNP or CCDP certifications (required)
• Strong Cisco experience with Catalyst, Nexus, and ISR
• Fortinet experience with Forti Gate, Forti Switch, Forti Manager, and/or Forti Analyzer
• Advanced routing knowledge:
  BGP, OSPF, EIGRP
• Switching fundamentals:
  VLANs, STP, port-channels
• Strong understanding of network security and segmentation
• Experience supporting SD-WAN
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills

• CCIE, CCDE, or additional Cisco certifications
• Fortinet NSE 7 / FCX (or similar advanced Fortinet certifications)
• Experience in financial services or other regulated environments
• Experience with hybrid network environments (on-prem & Cloud)
