Internship Overview
Interns join a mission where they learn more about how we’ve become one of the most trusted nonprofit brands in the industry. ALSAC’s Program offers an immersive experience where interns experience our culture, contribute to organization’s goals through projects, and build relationships with team members and senior leadership. During the summer internship, interns are assigned to a day‑to‑day manager where they are provided meaningful assignments.

- Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be comfortable with Zoom and Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Must be able to work in a team environment and independently.
- Must be organized, detail oriented, and able to balance multiple projects.
- Must maintain confidentiality.
- Support data‑related projects by identifying user needs, collecting data, performing data analysis, visualizing insights, and delivering findings to customers using storytelling skills.
- Ensure documentation is in the enterprise data catalog as appropriate.
- Provide recommendations for process improvements related to data analysis and research.
- Engage cross‑functional stakeholders (ITS, Legal, Info Sec, Marketing, Business Partners, etc.) to understand user requirements and ensure data accuracy and availability.
- Perform data cleaning and wrangling for analysis and analytics modeling.
- Comfort presenting to executive‑level team members; strong communication and storytelling skills.
- Data management and analytic skills with attention to detail.
- Collaboration, organization, and time‑management skills.
- Eager to contribute and willing to share ideas with the team.
- Experience with Tableau and Python is a plus; exposure to ML and statistical analysis is also a plus but not required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), SQL Server, and data catalog tools.
- Preferred majors: computer or data science, statistics, management information systems, or related majors.
