Position Summary

The Information Technology (IT) Specialist installs, modifies and repairs computer hardware and software systems and provides technical advice and support to system users. Offers support via email, phone, remote troubleshooting tools, or in-person to all users.

Must be proficient with all O365 products and familiar with managing/administering Microsoft tenants. Must have knowledge of Active Directory users and computers, and MS Exchange Online, along with computer imaging software for end-user creation and administration.

Essential Job Functions
  • Assists in deploying, monitoring, maintaining, updating, and supporting all IT systems, including computers, hardware, software, peripherals, and user software.
  • Assists with systems administration by creating users, groups, teams, shared mailboxes, and resource mailboxes using Microsoft 365 and Active Directory.
  • Responsible for all new hire IT onboarding, including computer imaging and user training.
  • Uses customer service skills to provide end-users with telephone, in-person, and online support.
  • Assists in maintaining asset management for all company IT assets.
  • Assists with helpdesk and desktop support duties such as installing hardware and peripheral components, and general troubleshooting.
  • Assist the Senior IT Team with installing, managing, and maintaining networking hardware.
  • Assists the Senior IT Team with installing, managing, and maintaining Windows servers.
  • Assists with managing and maintaining Windows Deployment Services and computer imaging software.
  • Provide support for all Audio/Video systems, both in-person and over the phone.
  • Identifies and procures the hardware and software needed to satisfy user requirements.
  • Loads appropriate software packages such as operating systems, office applications, and other third-party software.
  • Assists in customizing and adapting existing programs to meet users’ requirements.
  • Assists with coordinating activities with network services and information systems groups.
  • Provide updates, status, and completion information to managers and/or users via voice mail, e-mail, or in-person communication.
  • Refers hardware problems to service personnel for correction.
  • Monitors security camera software, servers, and peripherals.
  • Provide feedback and status updates to the Senior Manager of IT..
  • Provide documentation and knowledge base material for all IT tickets.
  • Assist the Senior IT Team with all SOPs and procedure documentation from tickets.
  • Assists in research and procurement of computer accessories and supplies.
  • Keep current with the latest technologies.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Education/Training
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business Administration, or a related field, preferred
Experience
  • Three years of experience in IT, required.
