Key Responsibilities- Maintain EHR training materials and assist with staff training.
- Develop and maintain workflow documentation and procedures.
- Review vendor release notes and assess their impact on EHR operations.
- Recommend EHR system and workflow improvements.
- Track requested changes and new EHR requirements from concept through implementation.
- Coordinate testing and implementation of EHR changes with stakeholders.
- Collaborate with EHR vendor application support teams.
- Serve as an escalation point for EHR-related questions and issues.
- Respond to escalated EHR help desk tickets.
- Troubleshoot and document EHR application issues and coordinate fixes with the vendor.
- Maintain change logs for interfaces, codes, configurations, and supporting tables.
- Develop and maintain role-based security profiles.
- Participate in EHR governance activities and other assigned projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Development, Management, Project Management, Public Health, Nursing, Business
, or a related field. - 3+ years of relevant experience
, OR - Associate’s degree plus 5 additional years of relevant experience
. - Strong troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Experience working with EHR systems, workflows, implementations, or application support is highly desirable.
