Gilchrist Aviation Law is seeking a motivated, detail-driven professional to join our team as a Legal Assistant. This role supports attorneys and legal staff in managing aircraft transactions from start to finish, including document preparation, regulatory filings, and transaction organization.

This is a specialized position that requires focus, accuracy, and strong collaboration. To ensure success, we provide a structured, fully paid training program that teaches the technical skills needed to thrive in aviation law. • Support attorneys with documentation throughout aircraft transactions
• Prepare and organize materials related to FAA registration and aircraft records
• Maintain accurate internal files, databases, and transaction checklists
• Perform document review, data entry, and administrative coordination
• Collaborate closely with attorneys and other legal assistants to ensure smooth closings
• Communicate professionally with team members and clients when needed

Preferred (not required):

• Bachelor’s degree in business or another technical field
• Experience in a detail-oriented, professional team environment

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly
• A reliable work ethic and positive, team-first mindset
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting

Our team members come from a variety of professional backgrounds, including legal support, commercial lending, oil and gas, real estate title, and other analytical or technical roles.

Gilchrist Aviation is considering a wide variety of qualifications for this position, and compensation will reflect the candidate’s specific qualifications and experience. Our starting salary is around the average of similar positions in the area. On top of this starting pay, candidates will become eligible for our firm’s generous bonus pay. Our compensation for experienced employees is above the average for legal assistants/paralegals in the area, not including bonus pay and benefits.
