Job Title: Sr. Supply Chain Planner
Reports to: Director, Supply Chain Planning
Location: On Site, Oklahoma City, OK
Travel Required: Up to 10%
The Senior Supply Chain Planner operates in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is responsible for planning and executing all value-added services, including kit building, custom printing, and relabeling projects. This role ensures customer-specific requirements are delivered with accuracy, efficiency, and quality, while maintaining a reliable supply to support high levels of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and manage work orders to ensure sufficient inventory and capacity are available to meet customer demand while maintaining target service levels and inventory turns
- Proactively identify and mitigate supply risks, implementing corrective actions and clearly communicating impacts when constraints arise
- Execute and validate MRP outputs, ensuring decisions are aligned with demand, supply, and planning parameters
- Maintain and improve data integrity within the MRP system, including lead times, safety stock, and order policies
- Partner with Buyers to address supply shortages and align on expected resolution timelines
- Work closely with Customer Service to prioritize demand and respond to changing customer requirements
- Collaborate with Distribution Centers to ensure efficient and accurate execution of value-added processes
- Monitor and drive key performance metrics including service levels, backorders, and inventory performance
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities in planning processes, execution, and inventory positioning
- Bachelor's degree (B.
A.) from a four‑year college or university in a business‑related area plus 2+ years experience in a similar role. - In lieu of a degree, 5 to 8 years of purchasing experience or related experience and/or training.
- Proficiency in ERP systems/theories.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Word and PowerPoint.
