The Senior Manager, Strategic Sourcing – G&A reports to the Senior Director of Strategic Sourcing – G&A. The role is part of the sourcing department that supports all source‑to‑pay activities across SMPA and is responsible for leading strategic sourcing and category management initiatives in corporate General & Administrative spend.

• Manage strategic sourcing activities across G&A categories including fleet, facilities, contingent labor, HR services, financial services and other professional/corporate services.
• Develop and implement category strategies that align with functional goals, leverage sourcing levers to drive efficiencies, optimize cost structures, mitigate risks, and deliver innovation.
• Collaborate with business partners on supplier management strategies that enable sustainable competitive advantage, mitigate financial and operational risk, and maintain optimal supplier performance levels. Negotiate service level agreements, develop supplier performance improvement plans, facilitate supplier business reviews.
• Generate sourcing insights utilizing spend analytics, industry intelligence and benchmarking data.
• Lead end‑to‑end competitive sourcing activities (RFx) with stakeholders: bid list generation, requirement development, drafting RFx documents, facilitating meetings and supplier presentations, establishing selection criteria/weighting, negotiating with bidders, cost analysis, business case development, award notifications, and contract negotiations. Utilize Coupa Sourcing platform for RFx events.
• Maintain sourcing practices in accordance with corporate ethics, financial policy, and internal control requirements.
• Pursue ongoing development of relevant skills: learning agility, data‑driven insights, business partnering, change and project management, strategic sourcing, AI tools approved by the company, and industry‑specific resources for categories under management.

• Technology:
  Proficient with contract lifecycle management, e‑sourcing, spend analytics, and supplier risk management platforms. Strong desire to learn; familiarity with Coupa is a plus. Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, TEAMS.

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, finance, or related field required; advanced degree (MBA or MS) preferred.
• 6+ years of relevant experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or category management, preferably within biotech or pharmaceutical industry.
• Demonstrated experience in managing sourcing initiatives across G&A categories such as contingent labor, HR services, facilities, corporate services, and fleet.
