Position Overview

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Entry Level or Associate Procurement Agent to join our dynamic team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma or Tukwila, Washington
.

The Level 1 or 2 Procurement Agent provides day‑to‑day procurement and purchasing support for the E7 program, ensuring timely, compliant acquisition of parts, services, and materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create purchase orders in the procurement system per E7 program requirements and Boeing procurement policies.
  • Monitor order status, track deliveries, and coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders (engineering, manufacturing, quality, planning) to resolve routine delivery or documentation issues.
  • Support supplier communication and onboarding activities including requesting quotes, confirming specifications, and documenting supplier commitments.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records, update supplier and part data, and ensure documentation meets audit requirements.
  • Support small sourcing actions and assist with basic negotiations under supervision.
Position Responsibilities – Entry Level 1
  • Assists with continuous review and analysis of demand and supply
  • Supports the sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements
  • Gathers data for supplier performance evaluation and improvement opportunities
Position Responsibilities – Associate Level 2
  • Performs continuous review and analysis of demand and supply
  • Prepares and executes proprietary information agreements
  • Supports sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements
  • Communicates performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance
Location and Attendance

This position is expected to be 100% onsite
. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Shift

This position is for 1st shift.

Export Control Compliance

Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. A “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required; “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications – Procurement Agent 1 (Required Skill/Experience)
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 0–2 years of procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or administrative experience; internships or co‑op experience relevant.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with ERP or procurement systems a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline‑driven environment.
Basic Qualifications – Procurement Agent 2 (Required Skills/Experience)
  • More than 1 year of experience in negotiating contracts or managing suppliers
  • More than 1 year of experience in Supplier Management/ Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer.
Preferred Qualifications – Procurement Agent 2 (Desired Skills/Experience)
  • More than 1 year of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services.
  • More than 1 year of experience with proposal development and contract negotiations.
  • More than 1 year of experience working with U.S. Department of Defense contracts.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • More than 1 year of experience with various contract types for example:
    Time & Materials, Firm Fixed Price, Cost Plus type Government contracts, etc.
Education/Experience Requirements
  • Entry Level 1: Related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Associate Level 2: More than 1 year of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Typical Education/Experience

Entry Level 1: Typically related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.
