Hajoca Corporation is one of the country’s largest privately‑held wholesale distributors of plumbing, heating & cooling, and industrial supplies. Although a large company, operations are decentralized. Each location, called a Profit Center (PC), is run by a Profit Center Manager as its own small business. A typical PC includes a warehouse, counter, sales office, and sometimes a showroom, operating under a unique trade name with a customized approach.

Hajoca seeks a Non‑CDL Delivery Driver at its Oklahoma City, OK location.

Key responsibilities include:

• Operate trucks safely and in compliance with company rules, applicable laws, and regulations.
• Load, secure, and unload merchandise; ensure safe load conditions and availability of unloading equipment.
• Review shipping documents, ensure order accuracy, and obtain required signatures.
• Collect and secure outstanding payments for cash sales before releasing material.
• Resolve shipping discrepancies quickly and accurately with customers.
• Pick up items at vendor locations, return customer merchandise, and purchase from other wholesalers as needed.
• Provide sales leads by noting prospective customer names and addresses discovered during deliveries.
• Inspect the truck and equipment to ensure safe operation and keep the vehicle clean.
• Report mechanical problems and complete the Driver’s Daily Vehicle Inspection Report when required.
• Store keys after work and complete required safety and compliance training programs.
• Perform other reasonable duties as assigned.

Essential qualifications:

• Age 21 or older.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Driving record meeting company authorized driver criteria.
• Ability to pass a Department of Transportation physical examination before starting and every two years thereafter.

Preferred qualifications:

• Knowledge of laws, rules, and regulations governing motor vehicle operation, including DOT regulations.
• Familiarity with warehouse and material‑handling safety precautions.
• Strong customer, vendor, and coworker relationship skills.
• Ability to remain calm in stressful or emergency situations.
• Willingness to learn to operate warehouse material‑handling equipment.
• Comfort with computer systems used in delivery processes.
• Fluency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
• Basic arithmetic skills.
