Meals on Wheels Part Time Delivery Drivers

St. Luke's Methodist Church is a large, fast-growing, church with multiple campuses and a significant outreach to the community.

Our mission e's is to share God's love and bring hope to the world. We accomplish that by sharing the message of Christ, growing in our faith, and serving the community. St. Luke’s is the administrator of Meals on Wheels Oklahoma City. We deliver more than 500 hot meals to senior citizens each weekday.

We currently have a need for Part-Time Drivers for our Meals on Wheels Program at our Downtown and Asbury Campuses.

Drivers assist in the preparation and packing ofhot, nutritious lunch meals Monday through Friday, thendeliver them directly to the homes of senior citizensusing your own vehicle.

Hours are from 9:30 a.m. until approximately 1:30 p.m.Monday through Friday from St. Luke’s Meals on Wheels kitchen at1320SW 38th Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73119.

• Pick up meals daily at the Asbury Campus location and deliver them directly to the homes of senior adult clients
• Clean out and return insulated boxes or bags at the start of the next shift.
• Additional responsibilities may include portioning food into trays to be sealed, then sorting them into bags for delivery
• Treat each client with dignity and respect
• Maintain professional conduct while working with clients and staff, as well as visitors and the general public

• Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
• Must be able to pass an Oklahoma State required background check
• Must be able to download and comfortably use technology, including computers, smartphones,applications and online maps, without assistance.

• Must be able to bend, kneel andclimb steps and stairs.
• Must be able to lift 35 lbs
