YMCA of Greater Oklahoma City is hiring a Custodian. This is a non‑exempt position that reports to the Association Janitorial Director.

• Ensure mirrors, windows, and glass are cleaned daily
• Manage trash (empty and wipe containers)
• Vacuum all carpet areas
• Clean and disinfect toilets, urinals, and sinks
• Refill and clean dispensers
• Disinfect and clean showers throughout the day as needed
• Scrub and mop hard floors to maintain clean surfaces
• Assist with deep cleaning (carpet, tile, etc.)
• Dust high surfaces
• Assist with stairwell and running track detailing
• Change air dispenser cartridges
• Assist with exterior window cleaning
• Report facility issues through the supervisor
• Secure the facility at the end of the shift
• Develop meaningful and sustainable relationships with members, donors, and volunteers
• Assist with all other janitorial duties as needed

• Current CPR/AED/O₂ and First Aid certification, renewed annually (training provided if needed)
• Completion of official training and all required Redwoods trainings within 30 days of hire, renewed annually
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of custodial work experience
• Good communication skills and ability to follow directions
• Ability to use technology to report facility issues and manage time

Salary: $11.00 – $13.00 per hour

The Custodian plays a critical role in creating a safe, clean, and enjoyable environment for our members.

Work hours may extend outside normal operational times, and travel to facilities within the OKC metro and surrounding cities is required.
