Field Technician Foreman - API

The Field Technician Foreman - API 653, under direction of the Operations Manager, has the primary job function to lead and facilitate the safe and efficient delivery of API 510/570/653 related services, including robotic inspections of above‑ground storage tanks and pressure vessels.

• Maintaining a safe work environment and ensuring that safety procedures are being followed and equipment is in proper working order.
• Performing all inspections in accordance with API 653 and other related standards.
• Documenting all inspection activities in accordance with company and customer guidelines.
• Recommending repairs and performing inspection of completed repair work as appropriate.
• Managing accurate and professional communications with both customers and the office.
• Managing and directing the field crew to efficiently complete each project.
• Making quick decisions on the job to ensure successful completion of projects.
• Completing all required training within company guidelines.

• 5 years field inspection experience.
• API‑653 certification.
• Ability to maintain good working relationships with co‑workers, management, vendors and customers.
• Willingness to travel (approximately 75% travel), with little notice including overnight and by air travel.
• Excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing.
• Ability to pass background and drug testing, including ongoing random testing.
• Valid driver’s license; ability to obtain or hold a passport and TWIC card.
• Comfortable with heights and tight spaces.
• Knowledge or certification to perform MT, VT, MFL, PT and other NDE methods as required.

• The pay range for this position is between 17.96 – 30.31 – 42.66 USD hourly.
