Position Overview
Full‑Time Drug Demand Reduction Program Manager (NH‑0301‑02) at Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC), 72 ABW, Tinker AFB, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, U.S. Federal job. Salary range 2026: $40,736.00‑$97,087.00 Yearly with locality. Posting Open: 2/19/2026 – Posting Close: 2/26/2026. This position is open exclusively to Current Command (AFMC) Federal employees. Key Responsibilities The primary purpose of this position is to serve as Drug Demand Reduction Program Manager, directing and supporting the activities of an installation‑wide urinalysis program.
- Direct and support the activities of an installation‑wide urinalysis program.
- Develop, maintain, and implement drug demand reduction strategies.
- Ensure compliance with federal, DoD, and Air Force policies.
Additional duties include travel on military and commercial aircraft for temporary duty, and working overtime, weekend, holiday, or shift schedules as required.

Must obtain, maintain and renew credentialing as required by a credentialing board identified by the DoD Board and specified in policy.Must complete a criminal background check.May be required to work overtime, weekend, holidays, or shifts to accomplish mission requirements.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of a wide range of concepts, principles and practices related to the Drug Demand Reduction Program as well as governmental policies and regulations concerning substance abuse.Knowledge of possible effects of illicit drug usage on the installation's mission and community life.Ability to gather, assemble, and analyze facts, draw conclusions, devise solutions to problems, and identify changes and trends.Ability to work with widely diverse individuals and base organizations and develop joint ventures.Knowledge of urinalysis drug testing and drug abuse/prevention programs.Knowledge of safety and security regulations, practices and procedures.Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.Knowledge of DoD budgeting processes, including developing, maintaining accountability requirements and constraints regarding expenditures of program funds.Ability to supervise, mentor, motivate, appraise and work with employees.Ability to plan, organize, and direct the functions and staff of a small to medium sized organization.Knowledge of budgeting processes, including developing, maintaining accountability requirements and constraints regarding expenditures of program funds.Proficiency in desktop computer operations including Word, Power Point, Excel and the Air Force Drug Testing Software.Skill to teach drug‑testing techniques to employees.Application Information
