REPORTS TO: Archbishop of OKC as Chairman of the Board of Directors and its Members

POSITION OBJECTIVE: The Executive Director of Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City holds the organization’s highest leadership responsibility, with full accountability for mission integrity, operational effectiveness, and the relationships that sustain the organization’s presence across Central and Western Oklahoma. The Executive Director holds a position of institutional presence and trust, leading the organization's administrative and operational functions while serving as its most visible representative within the Archdiocese of Oklahoma City, among its parishes and clergy, and in the broader community.

This person must navigate the relational and structural dynamics of Catholic institutional life with credibility, advance the Church's social mission and teachings, and build the relationships that sustain the organization's work across its service area. The Executive Director is also responsible for the operational health of the organization, ensuring sound management of its people, finances, programs, and systems.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Speaks fluently about Catholic social justice — its theological grounding, its relationship to the work of Catholic Charities, and its application to the communities CCAOKC serves.
  • Preserves and advances the Catholic identity of the organization, enhancing the visibility of the Church's social mission in the community and across the diocesan field.
2.Organizational Leadership and Strategic Direction

  • Builds a cohesive, accountable leadership culture across the organization that is grounded in Catholic values and principle-centered management.
  • Leads the implementation of the organization's strategic plan, ensuring priorities are translated into clear action, measurable progress, and accountability across the Executive Team.
3.Relations and Governance
  • Serves as Assistant Secretary for the Corporation and provides support to the officers and members of the Board of Directors.
  • Implements policy and directives approved by the Board of Directors and participates with the Board of Directors in planning and development of services; assists board committees as needed.
  • Serves as Secretary Treasurer for the Board of Directors for Catholic Charities Housing Inc.
