The Operations Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations within branch location(s) for DNOW.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • May supervise/direct branch employees and ensures daily duties are carried out.
  • Assists in the processing of orders and expediting open orders.
  • Manages and supports all facets of operations to insure all internal processes and daily work requirements are fulfilled each day.
  • Maintains branch inventory levels which meet or exceed company guidelines which include on hand unit accuracy and total investment.
  • Ensures compliance with SOX requirements and safety procedures.
  • Resolves issues as necessary. Interacts with internal and external customers of all levels.
  • Assists the Branch Manager with daily operations of the branch.
  • Act as manager in absence of Branch Manager.
  • Handles special projects, as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • High School Diploma or the equivalent. College Degree preferred.
  • Over 2 years of solid industry experience.
  • Oilfield, utility, energy, distribution or supply chain experience.
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations.
  • Very strong supervisory skills and experience.
  • Must have current, valid driver’s license and acceptable record at all times.
  • Must be able to physically lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Experience working with SAP.
  • Strong communication, organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to use office PC tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.
