Job:

This is a mid‑upper level event position and requires a mature professional individual with strong project management skills and the ability to manage teams from executive clients, internal team members, and external suppliers and partners. The position requires great flexibility, creative problem solving and the ability to independently manage multiple priority projects.

An Event Manager is responsible for the full project management and leadership of a variety of different event‑based executions. They serve as liaison between contractors, organizers, business owners and management with regards to all facets of the programs and events- driving deliverables for successful and impactful project execution. At times, this will include full management with minimal assistance.

Major Responsibilities
  • Project manage a wide variety of event experiences from client team management, event management, technical digital event builds, and overall deliverables management to achieve the agreed upon execution goal.
  • Partner with key stakeholders at start of the planning process to identify event strategy, audience targets, and organizational goals mapped to overall business goals.
  • Proactively manage and spearhead development process for all events end‑to‑end including project management, production timelines, event agenda, digital content, space allocation and rhythm of business among stakeholders across multiple time zones.
  • Create and facilitate event agenda with key stakeholders to optimize attendee flow, different learning styles, in‑person/digital venue capacity, speaker readiness , event goals and objectives.
  • Escalates and mitigates risks and challenges as identified and provide creative problem‑solving solutions.
  • Remain current on new trends in exhibit design and industry trends; including digital and hybrid events.
  • Establish and maintain budgets, purchase orders, 3rd party payments and cross charges, internal invoices for service hours worked, SOW creations, forecasting, and monthly approvals.
  • Effectively participate and partner with third party vendors on planning and execution to ensure all deliverables are timely and accurate.
  • Navigate specified software management tools and/or processes to efficiently and accurately manage event details.
  • Schedule and run conference calls and meetings with key participants and stakeholders including meeting agendas, resources and meeting notes.
  • Advise clients regarding venue selection, contract negotiations, vendor RFPs, and SOWs.
  • Measure KPI results (evaluations, attendance, feedback) on all content and communicate findings back to key stake holders. Modify processes to adopt best practices and incorporate feedback as appropriate.
