Tinker Federal Credit Union (TFCU)'s branches on Tinker Air Force Base are searching for an Assistant Vice President (AVP) Branch Manager II

As an Assistant Vice President (AVP) Branch Manager II
, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Managing and administering the operational efforts of their Branch in support of TFCU’s strategic plan.
  • Ensuring their team stays within compliance of all established policies and procedures.
  • Overseeing the provision of a full range of services to members and prospective members and fosters a sales-oriented culture.
  • Ensure that members are promptly and professionally served in a manner that enhances the TFCU’s reputation.
  • Identifying and hiring top talent, developing each member of their team to their fullest potential, and setting a clear direction for the branch while creating long-term relationships within their branch’s community.

Salary Range:

This is an exempt position. The salary range is $ - $; however, actual placement within the range will be determined individually based on your experience relative to organizational needs and internal salary equity.

Education/

Experience:

You must have abachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or a related field and eight years of financial institution experience in a role within or closely related to branch operations (three of which must be at the supervisory level).

Applicable work experience and/or military experience may be substituted for education at the rate of two years of experience for one year of education. Applicable additional education levels or relevant but not required certifications may be eligible to satisfy minimum experience requirements.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

  • Credentials to access Tinker AFB are not required before hire. TFCU will provide necessary paperwork to the employee upon hire to request access to Tinker AFB during employment.
  • Certify through the Manager/Supervisor – Branch degree program of TFCU University.
  • Maintain license to sell credit life and disability insurance.
  • Complete and pass regulation tutorials.
  • Incumbent Bonding REQUIRED by TFCU’s chosen authority.
  • NMLS/SAFE Act registration.

Keys to success:

In order to be successful as an Assistant Vice President (AVP) Branch Manager II
, you must possess these qualifications:

  • Flexibility to work a variety of schedules, including rotating Saturdays as well as the ability to travel to various TFCU locations.
  • Knowledge of TFCU lending policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of TFCU history, code of ethics, products, and services.
  • Knowledge of privacy procedures, confidentiality guidelines and cash handling standards.
  • Knowledge of Reg. CC, Reg. DD, Reg. J, Reg. D, Reg.

    E., Reg. B and Reg. Z.
  • Knowledge of Equal Credit Opportunity Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, Home Mortgage Disclosure Act, IRS rules for IRAs and NCUA share insurance rules.
  • Ability to use and maintain basic, fundamental office equipment.
  • Excellent organizational skills to prioritize projects and member-related concerns and discrepancies.
