ATS Welding, LLC is seeking an experienced Branch Manager to lead and grow our Oklahoma City-area operations. This is a hands-on leadership and business development position for someone who understands the oil & gas industry, knows how to build strong field teams, and has established relationships with operators, midstream companies, EPCs, and other customers throughout Oklahoma and the surrounding region.
The Branch Manager will be responsible for developing the Oklahoma operation into a strong, self-sustaining business unit focused primarily on oil & gas fabrication and field services. The right candidate will be equally comfortable developing customer relationships, pursuing work, building crews, and overseeing successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities- Build and grow ATS's presence throughout Oklahoma City and the surrounding oil & gas markets.
- Develop new business by leveraging existing industry relationships and establishing new customer relationships.
- Identify, pursue, and help secure fabrication, maintenance, construction, and field service opportunities.
- Maintain strict adherence to safety standards and company procedures, ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations and Operator Qualifications (OQs).
- Build and maintain relationships with pipeline operators, midstream companies, producers, processing facilities, EPC contractors, and industrial customers.
- Recruit, develop, and manage field leadership, welders, fitters, operators, laborers, and other skilled personnel necessary to execute work.
- Build scalable field teams capable of responding to both planned projects and short notice customer needs.
- Oversee branch operations and ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently, profitably, and to ATS quality standards.
- Coordinate manpower, equipment, fabrication resources, scheduling, and project requirements.
- Work closely with ATS estimating, project management, safety, quality, and executive leadership.
- Maintain accountability for branch performance, customer satisfaction, workforce utilization, and profitability.
- Develop a pipeline of future opportunities and maintain visibility into upcoming customer projects and maintenance needs.
- Represent ATS professionally within the Oklahoma oil & gas community.
- 7+ years of verifiable experience in a superintendent or higher position within oil & gas construction, pipeline, fabrication, maintenance, or related field services.
- Operator Qualification (OQ) experience preferred.
- Previous experience in an operations, branch management, project management, construction management, or senior field leadership role.
- Strong understanding of oil & gas fabrication, welding, piping, pipeline, facility, and field construction activities..
- Established relationships within the Oklahoma oil & gas industry with the ability to leverage those relationships to generate opportunities for ATS..
- Experience managing multiple projects, crews, customers, and competing operational priorities..
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to recruit and build high performing field teams.
- Strong understanding of project costs, labor productivity, equipment utilization, scheduling, and profitability.
- Ability to develop business while maintaining responsibility for successful execution.
- Strong leadership, communication, and customer relationship skills.
- Commitment to safety, quality, integrity, and accountability.
- Must pass a preemployment drug test.
