WHO WE ARE Hunger Free Oklahoma is a statewide nonprofit established to leverage the power of collaboration to solve hunger in Oklahoma by improving systems, policies, and practices, facilitating public/private partnerships, and providing backbone support to organizations addressing hunger.

Hunger Free Oklahoma works collaboratively with community-based organizations, government agencies, businesses, and other stakeholders that directly serve individuals. We provide technical assistance, convening, research, and policy guidance to nonprofit, government, and other partners statewide.

The Double Up Oklahoma Program matches SNAP dollars at participating grocery stores and farmers markets -$1 for $1 for the purchase of fruits and vegetables. Since 2019, DUO has provided more than $21 million in free fruits and vegetables to SNAP participants in Oklahoma. DUO is a fast-paced, high-profile program that advances food access, retail innovation, and systems change across the state.

OVERVIEW

Hunger Free Oklahoma is seeking a strategic, highly capable Senior Program Manager to lead a major statewide portfolio within Double Up Oklahoma (DUO). This role is designed for an experienced leader who can independently manage complex grocery-retail partnerships, operational systems, data and reporting obligations, vendor relationships, and high-visibility implementation work.

The Senior Program Manager will serve as a principal relationship manager for DUO’s large- and medium-scale grocery and retail-vendor portfolio. The role requires sound judgment, business fluency, strong operational discipline, and the ability to translate between retail partners, technology vendors, internal program teams, data functions, and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will lead work with substantial financial, operational, and reputational impact;

anticipate and mitigate implementation risk; and help shape the strategy and long-term performance of a fast-paced, high-profile statewide program.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

The Senior Program Manager reports to the Program Director, Double Up Oklahoma, and is based in Tulsa or Oklahoma City. This role will evolve with the program’s needs. Core responsibilities include:

Strategic retail partnership leadership

Serve as the primary relationship manager for a statewide portfolio of large- and medium-scale grocery, point-of-sale, loyalty-card, and other implementation partners involved with the Double Up program. Build and sustain trusted, business-to-business relationships with senior leaders and stakeholders. Lead partnership strategy, planning, implementation, and performance management that comes with substantial operational and financial scope. Assess future partner readiness and other program growth opportunities;

recommend strategies that strengthen state-wide program reach, customer participation and impact.
