** Position Purpose
** The Managing Attorney V serves as a strategic legal leader within the Oklahoma Health Care Authority (OHCA), providing high-level legal counsel and direction to ensure that the agency's operations align with federal and state laws and regulations. This role is critical in managing legal strategies, overseeing complex legal matters, and advising senior leadership on legal risks and opportunities. In addition, this position supervises legal staff, fosters interdepartmental collaboration, and supports the agency’s mission to provide Oklahomans with better health and care.

The incumbent will lead efforts to ensure compliance, resolve legal disputes, and promote policy development while driving legal excellence across the organization.  #

*** Provide high-level legal counsel to the Chief Legal Officer, Executive Staff, and program leadership on complex legal, regulatory, and policy matters affecting OHCA’s operations and strategic initiatives.
