Responsibilities
  • Diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, calibrating and testing electromechanical medical instruments following established procedures and specifications
  • Documenting repairs and testing activities accurately in Quality Device History Records
  • Creating labels and packaging medical instruments and assemblies
  • Tracking daily work cell performance metrics
  • Evaluating repairs and preparing customer repair quotes
Qualifications
  • Education
    :
    Associate degree in Electronics from a two-year college or technical school, or equivalent related experience
  • Experience
    :
    Four to seven years of experience as an Electronic Technician or Service Technician
  • Knowledge
    :
    Ability to read and write in English with strong basic math skills
  • Physical Demands
    :
    Ability to lift and handle materials up to 25 lbs
  • Travelling Requirements
    :
    Willingness to travel less than 10 percent when needed
