The Materials Manager plans, directs, and coordinates materials operations to support manufacturing and project execution. This role ensures safe, efficient, and accurate handling of materials while meeting company objectives for safety, quality productively and on-time delivery.
Materials Manager Responsibilities- Manage daily materials activities, including receiving, storage, issuing, and shipping.
- Ensure accurate inventory control and timely availability of materials to support production schedules.
- Support Project-based work and coordinate material flow with manufacturing and operational teams.
- Interview, onboard, train employees, assign work duties, conduct probationary and annual performance evaluations.
High School diploma or GED required.
Minimum of eight years of related materials management experience.
