Shift Times
1st Shift

The Engine Assembly Technician inspects, assembles, and tests engine components, subassemblies, and complete assemblies to ensure quality and performance standards are met.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Inspect and qualify engine parts using visual and dimensional criteria
- Operate measuring instruments and test equipment to verify tolerances and part placement
- Identify parts by model type and part number
- Assemble subassemblies and component parts into engines using manual, semi-automated, and fully automated methods
- Operate air tools, hand tools, torque wrenches, and automated equipment
- Record production and quality data manually and electronically
- Recommend improvements to production methods, equipment performance, and product quality
- Perform basic operator-prescribed maintenance on assigned equipment
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including QS 9000 and ISO 14001 standards
- Regularly required to stand for extended periods
- Frequent use of hands for handling tools and repetitive grasping
- Frequent reaching with hands and arms
- Occasional walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, or crouching
- Regular lifting up to 35 lbs and occasional lifting up to 50 lbs
- Close vision and color vision required
- Must be able to read and understand English

Work Environment- Occasionally works near moving mechanical parts
- Occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles
- Most duties performed in an air-conditioned environment

- Engine parts and fluids

- Solvent- and aqueous-based cleaning and paint products
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must pass background check and drug screen
- Must be willing to work mandatory overtime
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to read and understand English
- Manufacturing experience preferred but not required
- 10-hour shifts
- 12-hour shifts
- Day, evening, or night shifts
- Monday–Friday
