Tool and Die Maker
The Tool and Die Maker analyzes specifications, lays out metal stock, and sets up and operates both manual and CNC machines to manufacture and repair dies, cutting tools, jigs, fixtures, gauges, and hand tools. This role supports Operations as well as Engineering Research and Development projects and may include machinist responsibilities, running a variety of CNC mills and lathes to enhance overall productivity.
The position requires extensive experience working with vertical and horizontal mills and lathes and the ability to produce precision parts using a variety of measuring and machine tools.
Responsibilities
- Analyze specifications, engineering drawings, and blueprints to determine machining and fabrication requirements for tools, dies, and fixtures.
- Lay out metal stock and plan the sequence of operations to manufacture or repair dies, cutting tools, jigs, fixtures, gauges, and hand tools.
- Set up and operate manual and CNC mills and lathes, including vertical and horizontal machines, to produce precision components.
- Perform precise machine setups, including selecting and installing cutting tools, fixtures, and gauges required for each job.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in alignment with 5S and safety practices.
- Collaborate with team members to improve tooling designs, machining processes, and overall productivity.

Starting at $27/hour. $30+ for qualified candidates for over 3 years experience - Climate controlled facility

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oklahoma City, OK.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
