Job Description
Responsible for assembling, inspecting, and packaging plastic lids or closures used in manufacturing processes. This role involves working with small components, operating basic machinery, and ensuring products meet quality standards in a fast‑paced production environment.
Accountabilities- Assemble plastic lids or related components according to specifications and production schedules.
- Inspect finished products for defects such as cracks, deformities, or improper sealing.
- Operate and monitor assembly line equipment and tools safely.
- Perform routine quality checks to ensure products meet company standards.
- Package finished lids for shipment or further processing.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area (5S standards).
- Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures.
- Report equipment malfunctions or production issues to supervisors.
- Meet daily production targets and efficiency goals.
- Assist with basic machine setup or adjustments when required.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
- Good hand‑eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Basic understanding of quality control processes.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Basic math and counting skills.
- Willingness to work 12‑hour shifts, including weekends or holidays if needed.
- Previous production experience is preferred.
- Ability to read, write and communicate in English would be a plus.
- Standing and walking for extended periods (up to 12 hours per shift) on concrete floors.
- Lifting and carrying materials and packaging supplies up to 40 lbs.
- Bending, stooping, and kneeling frequently for setup, loading, and maintenance tasks.
- Occasional reaching overhead or below waist level.
- Fine motor skills and hand‑eye coordination to operate machinery and manage small components.
- Visual and auditory acuity to read print specifications and hear equipment alerts in a moderately noisy environment.
- Exposure to ink fumes, cleaning chemicals, heat, humidity, and high noise levels typical of injection molding and printing operations.
- Mobility and coordination to navigate production areas and storage zones with good balance.
