Customer Support Engineer (CSE) – TF33 Engine Program
Location: Tinker AFB, Tinker, OK
Travel: 20–30%
- Act as the primary technical interface between Pratt & Whitney and all TF33 customers.
- Provide complete, timely responses to customer and FSR technical questions and track them in the appropriate systems.
- Research technical issues, correct source data to resolve system‑level problems, and coordinate with program management and customers to implement solutions that improve engine safety and readiness.
- Support and coordinate with company teams deployed to customer sites for special inspections, data collection, and design evaluation.
- Prepare and present Maintenance Awareness Briefings (MAB) to the USAF and foreign military services (FMS).
- Drive integration across multiple teams, including the USAF, P&W Program Office, Contracts, Military Engines Finance, and various P&W Engineering organizations.
- Provide rapid responses to significant field events and address issues impacting aircraft and engine mission capability.
- Communicate daily with Field Service Engineers to troubleshoot engine and software issues, supporting operational units, flight test locations, and aircraft depots.
- Provide support on other legacy engine programs in limited use.
- Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience; OR an advanced degree with 3+ years of relevant experience.
- Demonstrated experience driving integration across teams such as the USAF, P&W Program Office, Contracts, Military Engines Finance, and various P&W Engineering organizations.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance. Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Word).
- Familiarity with CORE tools and global trade requirements.
- Experience with engine systems operation.
- Strong organizational skills to handle urgent field requests.
- Experience in U.S. Military aircraft or engine maintenance is a plus.
- Ability to develop and present material to cross‑functional teams and upper‑level management.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) and proficiency in technical writing.
- Willingness to provide occasional weekend and off‑hour support.
Salary range: 86,800 USD – 165,200 USD.
