Printing Press Operator
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Printing Press Operator to join our team on the night shift. The Printing Press Operator will be responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of printing press equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of printing processes, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Set up and operate printing press equipment, ensuring proper settings for each job.
- Monitor the printing process to ensure quality standards and specifications are met.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on printing press machines to ensure smooth operation.
- Inspect printed materials for defects and make adjustments as needed.
- Ensure proper loading of paper, ink, and other materials for each job.
- Record and report any operational issues, production statistics, or other relevant data.
- Follow safety guidelines and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace and work in a safe manner at all times.
- Assist with machine calibration, ink mixing, and maintenance of materials.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure deadlines are met and production targets are achieved.
- Previous experience as a Printing Press Operator or in a similar role is preferred.
- Basic mechanical skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work the designated night shift (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday) from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in printing or machine operation is a plus.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Manual dexterity and the ability to operate machinery.
- Ability to work in a noisy environment with occasional exposure to fumes and chemicals used in the printing process.
Shift: Night Shift (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday) from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM.
