Job Description & How to Apply Below

We’re looking for a hands‑on Production Supervisor to lead a shift on our manufacturing floor. This is a role for someone who genuinely likes solving problems in real time — someone who can walk the line, spot a bottleneck before it costs an hour of output, and rally a team to hit the number anyway. You'll own the day‑to‑day performance of your area: people, safety, quality, and throughput — with real input into how the operation runs, not just a checklist to enforce.

WHAT

YOU'LL DO
  • Lead daily operations for your shift or production line, coordinating people, materials, and equipment to hit safety, quality, and output targets.
  • Supervise, coach, and schedule a team of production associates — building a crew that shows up, works safely, and takes pride in what it makes.
  • Monitor key metrics (throughput, scrap, downtime, first‑pass yield) and act on the ones trending the wrong way, not just report them.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and production bottlenecks on the spot, looping in maintenance or engineering when needed.
  • Enforce and model safety procedures and quality standards; lead root‑cause conversations when something goes wrong.
  • Drive continuous improvement — 5S, lean, or just common‑sense fixes — and champion the ones your team suggests.
  • Handle the people side: onboarding, performance feedback, attendance, and conflict resolution.
  • Communicate up and across — keeping plant leadership, other shifts, and support functions in sync.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
  • 2+ years of experience leading people in a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment (shift lead, team lead, or supervisor experience all count).
  • A track record of hitting production and quality targets while keeping a crew safe and engaged.
  • Comfort with production data — reading a scorecard, spotting a trend, and knowing what to do about it.
  • Clear, direct communication style; you can give tough feedback and still have people want to work for you.
  • A problem‑solver's instinct — you'd rather fix it than escape it, but you know when to escape.
  • Willingness to work the floor, not just the office — this role lives where the product gets made.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field a plus, not a requirement.
WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU
  • Competitive base salary, commensurate with experience
  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Paid time off and paid holidays
  • A real path to plant management for supervisors who perform
