The Machinist is responsible for delivering safe, efficient, and reliable machining operations to support product and service delivery. This role ensures equipment and components are produced and maintained according to operational requirements, while continuously seeking opportunities to improve performance and quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in pre-job and Toolbox meetings with team members.
  • Plan and execute maintenance and machining activities for assigned equipment and components.
  • Operate machining equipment in accordance with procedures, competency levels, and job requirements.
  • Ensure equipment and parts are maintained and produced according to company standards, reporting any issues or deviations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve machining processes and overall service delivery.
  • Support failure investigations when required.
  • Apply Manufacturing System principles and tools to drive continuous improvement.
Required Technical

Skills & Experience:
  • Experience working with Fanuc control systems.
  • Strong knowledge of G-code programming.
  • Proven experience in lathe operations, including use of a 4-jaw chuck.
  • Experience with Horizontal Boring Mills (HBM); familiarity with 3-axis machining required, and exposure to 6-axis machines is a plus.
  • Experience with or willingness to learn ITS tooling systems (training provided).
