Assistant Machine Operator 2nd Shift

As an Assistant Machine Operator, you’ll help keep our machines running smoothly by supporting setup, operation, and cleanup. This is a hands-on role for someone who’s dependable, detail-oriented, and ready to grow in a fast-paced production environment.

2nd Shift (2:00 PM - 10:00 PM) - Must be available for overtime and occasional weekend work as needed

• Assist with machine setup, operation, and cleanup
• Monitor product quality and report issues
• Help switch roles and support the production team as needed
• Keep the work area clean and organized
• Complete production and safety reports accurately
• Submit maintenance requests when needed
• Cross-train on other machines and support team flexibility

• You can read and understand safety instructions and production documents written in English
• You can use a tape measure accurately and consistently
• You’re confident using basic math for counts, measurements, and simple calculations

• You’re eager to learn, grow, and contribute to the team’s success
• Preferred qualifications:
  
  Prior experience in a manufacturing or production setting.

• You’ll be on your feet for most of you shift. This includes standing, walking, bending, kneeling and regularly or moving up to 40 pounds
• You will work near moving mechanical parts and in an environment where noise, vibration, and airborne particles are common
• The facility is not climate controlled, which means it can be very hot in the summer and cold in the winter
• Personal protective equipment (PPE) such as hearing protection, protective footwear, and safety glasses must be worn at all times
