Blue Worx Staffing is seeking an experienced Floor Supervisor to join a growing manufacturing operation in Oklahoma City. This leadership position is ideal for a motivated professional who thrives in a fast-paced production environment and is passionate about developing employees, improving processes, and driving operational excellence.

The ideal candidate is a hands‑on leader with strong manufacturing experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to motivate teams while maintaining a safe, productive, and positive work environment.

Position Overview

The Floor Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations, supervising production personnel, ensuring production goals are achieved, and maintaining quality and safety standards. This position works closely with production management, quality control, maintenance, and other departments to ensure efficient operations and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise daily production operations and manufacturing personnel
  • Ensure production equipment is properly set up, tested, and ready for scheduled production
  • Monitor production output, material usage, downtime, and overall productivity
  • Maintain high visibility on the production floor while providing leadership and support to employees
  • Establish and maintain department standards for productivity, quality, and efficiency
  • Coordinate with Quality Control to maintain product quality and resolve production issues
  • Report equipment concerns and coordinate maintenance repairs as needed
  • Assist with employee scheduling, overtime planning, vacation approvals, and timecard reviews
  • Train, coach, mentor, and evaluate production employees
  • Support hiring, onboarding, and employee development initiatives
  • Enforce company policies, procedures, and safety standards
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve production-related issues
  • Maintain knowledge of manufacturing systems and production processes
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Two to four years of manufacturing leadership or supervisory experience required
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations and production processes
  • Previous experience leading production teams in an industrial environment
  • Experience with Oracle Forms and Microsoft Outlook/Email preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities
  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast‑paced environment
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
  • Commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement

  • Ability to work safely around moving machinery and production equipment
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with moderate to high noise levels
  • Ability to wear all required personal protective equipment
