Job SummaryJob Summary: The Assembler I is responsible for building level I products using precise instructions and processes.
Essential Job Functions- Builds level I product as defined in Assembly Training Matrix
- Builds products and sub-assemblies with raw materials by using templates, tools, and reading measurements
- Performs all functions according to documented work instructions for products.
- Performs quality checks on all final products.
- Meets or exceeds certification requirements for position.
- Complies with all safety policies, practices, and procedures. Reports all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or a Safety Health and Environmental team member
- Participates in proactive teams to achieve departmental and company goals
- Provides leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skill
- Performs other duties as assigned
- 1 year experience with Kimray products preferred
- Must successfully complete all requirements established as an Assembler
- Manual dexterity
- Strong hand to eye coordination
- Ability to operate Computers, Printers, CTS Tester, Scales, Hoists
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints as well as written instructions
- Must be proficient with verbal communication
- Must have strong attention to detail
- Must have analytical and critical thinking skills
- Must pass background check and drug screen

- Warehouse environment with elevated noise and moving equipment
- Continuous skin exposure to oils, greases, adhesives, paints, and other chemicals
- Continuous exposure to atmospheric conditions that may affect the respiratory system
- PPE required in specific areas
- Continuous standing, walking, reaching, bending, pushing, pulling
- Capable of lifting up to 75 lbs.
