Part-Time Volunteer Coordinator
Department: Construction & Community Engagement, Central Oklahoma Habitat for Humanity About the Role: The Part-Time Volunteer Coordinator recruits, schedules and supports volunteers across Central Oklahoma Habitat for Humanity’s New Home Construction program, two ReStores and organizational initiatives, ensuring a positive and mission-focused volunteer experience.
Key Responsibilities:

• Recruit and onboard volunteers through email, social media, website inquiries and outreach.
• Manage volunteer scheduling and opportunities using the volunteer management system.
• Coordinate individual volunteers and groups, including corporate and school teams.
• Meet volunteers onsite, conduct check-ins, provide orientation and provide support as needed.
• Capture and organize photos/videos for social media and internal use.
• Track volunteer hours and prepare monthly and annual reports.
• Assist construction and warehouse teams as needed.
• Support community service volunteers, Sweat-Equity meetings and special events.
• Work with development for marketing materials and volunteer apparel.

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to lead and supervise volunteers of varying skill levels.
• Excellent organizational and scheduling abilities.
• Basic construction knowledge is preferred.
• Proficiency with volunteer management systems.
