The Salvation Army is seeking an experienced Divisional Resource Development Director in the Arkansas/Oklahoma area to lead, manage, cultivate, solicit, and steward the major gifts program in the division.

• This Divisional Resource Development Director position will lead, train, and mentor a team of professionals to raise funds to enable the mission of The Salvation Army in the Arkansas/Oklahoma area.
• The candidate will develop and nurture current and prospective donors, including individuals, foundations, government agencies, and corporations in an assigned geographic region of the Division.
• Respond to inquiries and communicate with donors, advisory organization members, Salvation Army employees and leaders.
• The position has direct oversight for a team of professionals and will be responsible for training, mentoring and accountability of its members.
• The role is based in Central Oklahoma and requires regular travel throughout both states, including occasional overnight travel and participation in Territorial and National conferences.

• A Bachelor’s degree (preferred, but not required) from an accredited college or university (preferably in a related field of study) AND five years’ experience performing progressively responsible fundraising work in a charitable organization with demonstrated successful major donor fund raising experience preferred.
• Experience in leading a team of fund-raising professionals.
• Proven history of establishing and maintaining strong long‑term donor relationships.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Track record of achieving goals.
• Prior experience with a donor management system.

This position requires an active Christian faith in harmony with Salvation Army doctrine and practice.

• Valid State Driver’s License
• Certified Fund‑Raising Executive (CFRE) or Advanced Certified Fundraising Executive (ACFRE) is preferred.
