Job Description
American Traveler is hiring a night shift RN for a Neonatal ICU position requiring a current OK or compact RN license and at least one year of recent NICU experience.
Responsibilities- Work in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at a hospital
- Night shift schedule with hours from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- 13-week assignment with the potential for blocked scheduling based on needs
- Provides care to neonates and critically ill newborns
- Up to 5 days of requested time off is allowed but must be made up during the assignment
- Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility may receive a reduced bill rate and are subject to local contract rules
- Subcontractor staff within 50 miles are limited to three consecutive 13-week contracts before a one-year break or transfer to another facility
- Recent work history with demonstrated continuity of employment is preferred
- Active OK or compact RN license is required at time of consideration
- Minimum of one year recent experience in NICU nursing
- No certifications allowed to expire within the first 30 days of the assignment unless proof of scheduled renewal is provided
- Valid U.S. Social Security Number required
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
