Overview

Full-Time Urgent Care Provider opportunities in North Oklahoma City with SSM Health. We are seeking a dynamic and confident full-time Urgent Care Provider to join our established clinic, located in North Oklahoma City, near major highways and medical group operations. You will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. This clinic operates seven days a week, with flexible scheduling and coverage of additional shifts as needed.

Highlights
  • Schedule:

    14 twelve-hour shifts per month (8:00 am – 7:45 pm, last patient); flexible scheduling including weekends
  • Compensation:
    Competitive annual base salary, plus incentives for productivity and extra shifts
  • Benefits: CME allowance, eligible for full benefits package, opportunity for additional shifts across other locations
  • Staffing:
    Dedicated support team including Medical Assistants, Office Assistants, and onsite supervising physician
  • Patient Volume:
    Consistently busy clinic with focus on patient care and smooth operations
  • Onsite services: X-ray and laboratory services available onsite
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive urgent care within the full scope of your license, managing a wide range of acute conditions
  • Deliver a high-quality patient experience and contribute to the clinic's energetic culture
  • Participate in ongoing clinical education and skill development
Qualifications

Education: Graduate degree from an accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing

Experience:

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant urgent care or emergency medicine experience strongly preferred. New graduates will be considered; prior experience is ideal
  • Ability to work independently and confidently at the top of your clinical scope
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

Required Professional License And/or

Certifications:

  • Basic Life Support Health Care Provider (BLS HCP) – American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Registered Nurse (RN) issued by Compact State (Within 6 months) OR RN Oklahoma Board of Nursing (OBN) (Within 6 months)
  • Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) Oklahoma Board of Nursing (OBN) and one of the following:
    • Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP-BC) – ANCC
    • Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (Adult) (ACNPC) – AACN
    • Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (Adult-Gerontology) (ACNPG-AG) – AACN
    • Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certification (AGACNP-BC) – ANCC
    • Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AGNP) – AANP
    • Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Certification (AGPCNP-BC) – ANCC
    • Adult Nurse Practitioner (ANP-C) – AANPCB
    • Adult Nurse Practitioner Certification (ANP-BC) – ANCC
    • Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) – AANP
    • Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner - Acute Care (CPNP-AC) – PNCB
    • Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner - Primary Care (CPNP-PC) – PNCB
    • Emergency Nurse Practitioner (ENP-BC) – ANCC
    • Family Nurse Practitioner Certification (FNP-BC) – ANCC
    • Gerontological Nurse Practitioner (GNP-BC) – ANCC
    • Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (GNP-C) – AANP
    • Pediatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Certification (PPCNP-BC) – ANCC
