Travel RN for a Surgical Oncology unit in Oklahoma City, OK. 13‑week assignment, nights, 3 × 12‑hour shifts (36 hrs /wk).

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Surgical Oncology unit, requiring at least one year of experience, ONS/ONCC certification, and hands‑on chemotherapy and oncology patient care experience.

• Work in the Surgical Oncology unit of an acute care hospital in Oklahoma City, OK
• Stepdown and Med/Surg experience are both required for this role
• Experience with chemotherapy administration and oncology patient care is required
• Night shift, 12‑hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours per week)

• Active RN license (Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or eNLC Compact)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
• ONS or ONCC certification (fundamentals may be considered)
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience
• Experience in both stepdown and Med/Surg settings
• Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program (BSN preferred)
• Candidate must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Full Date of Birth required

• Assuming care for an assigned patient group, administering medications, initiating and monitoring IV infusions and blood products, and documenting patient responses to nursing interventions
• Collaborating with physicians during examinations and minor diagnostic procedures
• Engaging patients and families in care planning throughout hospital stay and at discharge
• Delegating tasks to support staff and making referrals to appropriate personnel as needed
• Former facility employees must have a 6‑month separation before applying (maximum one extension, total of 26 weeks)
• Must be prepared to begin onboarding immediately upon acceptance of an offer

Weekly pay: $2,584 (range $2,326–$2,584)

Assignment total (13 weeks): $33,592

Annual equivalent (52 weeks): $134,368

Weekly breakdown:

• Regular wages: $1,296 (36 hrs × $36.00)
• Weekly stipends: $1,288
• Lodging: $812 ($116 × 7 days)
• Meals & Incidentals: $476 ($68 × 7 days)
